Adding engaging content to your product tours


To add content to your product tours in Faqprime, you can leverage the power of the knowledgebase and the target question ID. Here’s how:

  1. Add a Question to Your Knowledgebase: Start by adding a new question to your knowledgebase in Faqprime. This question will serve as the basis for the content of your product tour.

  2. Change Visibility to Unlisted: Once you’ve added your content, change the visibility of the question to ‘Unlisted’. This ensures that the question is not publicly visible in your knowledgebase, but can still be used in your product tour. 

  3. Save the question: Select the relevant category the question belongs to and add sub-text for the question and tags. Then click on the 'Add Question' button.

  4. Add an Answer: Next, provide an answer to the question. In this answer, you can include a variety of content types, such as images, videos, buttons, iframes, and more.

  5. Save Your Changes: After making these changes, save the answer by clicking on  'Add Answer' button.

  6. Copy the Question ID: Once the question is saved, copy its question ID. This ID is unique to the question and will be used to link it to your product tour.

  7. Add the Question ID to Your Product Tour: Finally, while recording your product tour, you’ll come across a field for the ‘target question ID’. Paste the copied question ID into this field.
