Helpbot is not showing relevant content based on URLs, how do I fix it?

Helpbot is not displaying relevant content based on URLs

If your helpbot isn’t displaying relevant content based on the URLs of your website pages, there could be a few reasons why.

Here’s how you can troubleshoot:

  1. Log in to Faqprime: Access your Faqprime account by entering your login credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Helpbot Widget: Once you’re logged in, navigate to the ‘Helpbot Widget’ section of your dashboard.
  3. Review Your Context Control Settings: Navigate to the ‘Context Control’ section of your Helpbot widget settings. Here, you can associate specific tags with URLs. This allows the Helpbot to display content relevant to the specific page a user is viewing. Check the settings for each URL and associated tags. For example, if you’re on the pricing page and the Helpbot isn’t showing content tagged as ‘pricing’, there might be an issue with the settings for that URL. Make sure the URL and the parameter set with it is correct.
  4. Save Your Changes: After reviewing and adjusting your settings, save your changes to ensure they take effect.

The goal of context control is to provide the most relevant information to users based on the page they’re currently viewing. However, users can always use the search function to find other content apart from the contextually controlled content.
