Set Server Roles on Discord

Step by step user flow to add and manage roles and permissions on Discord servers.

Go to the Server Settings

Go to Roles

Click on Create Role

Type the Role name

Choose a color for the Role

Upload an icon

Save Changes

Go to Permissions

Set the permissions

Add another role

Let’s say Designer

Add another role

Let’s say Contributor

Press “ESC” to go back

Set Server Roles on Discord

Visit Discord’s website, and log in to your account
Go to your Server
Click on Server Settings ⚙
Go to Roles
Click on ➕ to add a role
Set a name, color an icon to the role
Setup permissions for the role
Click on Save Changes
And you’re all set!
